"Vinh Linh" source tourism program

(Fatherland) - From December 20-26, the Tourism Development Support Fund coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province to organize a Farmtrip group to experience and survey the potential of the "Vinh Linh - Memory and Present" origin tourism product, conduct research and survey historical sites, tourist attractions that have been and are being exploited, and potential destinations in the localities of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri clusters.

Based on reality and experts' opinions, the travel company will determine the typical and unique tourism products of Vinh Linh, of Quang Tri province in particular and of the localities of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri in general.

With the purpose of researching and surveying the actual destinations, evaluating tourism products and services in Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province and the localities of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh clusters. Organizing research groups, surveying products and destinations at each tourist destination. Based on the actual situation, the group will analyze the products, identify the advantages and limitations affecting the tourism development of the localities.

On that basis, businesses and state agencies will discuss and seek solutions to restructure, renew and develop diverse and unique tourism products and services based on potential and competitive advantages, associated with promoting the strengths of source tourism along with exploiting sea tourism and resort tourism of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri to suit the tastes of tourists from the North and the South, while improving competitiveness in terms of price and service quality.

Support the localities of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri clusters to strengthen linkage and cooperation activities in tourism development with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general; as well as promote propaganda, promotion and introduction of tourism images, culture, people and lands of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri provinces.

Promote the introduction and promotion of potentials, strengths, tourism products, and tourism investment and business capabilities in Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province, contributing to growth, economic restructuring, and building Vinh Linh into an economic and cultural center in the North of Quang Tri province and an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Contribute to the implementation of Vinh Linh's tourism development goal, by 2025 attracting 150,000 visitors, including 30,000 international visitors; total tourism revenue reaching over 220 billion VND; by 2030 attracting 400,000 visitors, with revenue of over 450 billion VND.
