Quang Tri town authorities at all levels always strengthen coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations to mobilize people and members to effectively implement the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality. With the synchronous participation of the political system, the consensus of the people and the business community to compete in developing production and business, joining hands in urban beautification, up to now, the urban appearance of Quang Tri town has developed spacious, modern, friendly and affectionate.

Implementing the program of coordination between the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front in all fields, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of Quang Tri town always innovate their working methods, closely coordinate with all levels and sectors to organize many patriotic emulation movements, unite to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, create jobs, build cultural life, maintain political security - social order and safety at the grassroots level.

In production development and new rural construction, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations coordinate with the Town People's Committee to develop and implement a plan to improve the quality of the emulation movement of farmers in good production, restructure agricultural production, build model gardens, apply scientific and technical advances in production... Thanks to that, in 2023, the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production of the town reached 122 billion VND, an increase of 5.4%.

Regarding the coordination of site clearance to speed up the progress of projects, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have actively mobilized the people to agree to participate in handing over the construction site for the items of Vo Van Kiet road, the central lake of the new urban area of Vo Van Kiet, Hai Le embankment, Hai Le industrial cluster, land exchange of the Bac Thanh Co urban area...

Urban management and building a civilized urban lifestyle have mobilized socialization to install lighting systems in alleys and lanes; actively launched environmental sanitation campaigns to beautify streets, and formed many self-management models undertaken by organizations, contributing to making the urban appearance increasingly prosperous.

In addition, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have done a good job of propagating and mobilizing the people to implement the resolutions of the Town People's Council through contacting voters before and after the sessions; mobilizing the people and members to participate in the "Flower Lantern Night" programs to honor heroic martyrs and the "Walking Street" program according to the plan of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Town, creating a highlight to promote and attract tourists to the town, promoting the development of the town's tourism industry to become a spearhead economic sector.

In order to contribute to improving people's lives, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, ensuring social security in the area, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Quang Tri town coordinate with the government, departments and functional agencies to effectively implement policies for people with meritorious services, social assistance and ensuring social security.

In 2023, Quang Tri town supported poor and near-poor households to access and enjoy preferential policies on loans, healthcare, education, vocational training, housing support, etc., contributing to helping 17 poor households escape poverty. The town's "For the Poor" Fund received direct support of more than 730 million VND and 25,000 gifts worth 1.3 billion VND, reaching 158% of the assigned target. From this fund, livelihood models and working means have been supported, helping the poor and families in difficult circumstances to improve their lives and strive to escape poverty.

Promoting the representative role in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and association members; creating an open space for people to participate in policy decisions and policy implementation, in the coming time, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Quang Tri town will closely coordinate with authorities at all levels to comprehensively and practically implement coordination contents aimed at solving urgent issues in people's lives such as socio-economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, social security implementation, and improving and enhancing people's lives.

Through coordination between the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, social consensus is created, contributing to consolidating and expanding the great national unity bloc, promoting democracy, contributing to law-making, social supervision and criticism, participating in building a clean and strong Party and State, promoting the prevention and fight against corruption, waste, negativity, administrative reform, improving the quality of service to the people, contributing to building an increasingly developed homeland.
