DIFF 2024 Final: People and tourists flock to the stands to watch fireworks

ĐNO - On the afternoon of July 13, a large number of people and tourists flocked to the stands and many locations around the Han River early in the morning to wait and enjoy the world-class performance of the two Chinese and Finnish fireworks teams in the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024.

The final night was highly anticipated by many locals and tourists, so even though it was only nearly 6 p.m., many tourists had already flocked to the stands to reserve seats to watch the fireworks.

According to the reporter's records, at the Han River bank area, Tran Hung Dao street (next to the grandstand), since early afternoon, many people have come to "fight" for good positions.

Ms. Tran Thi Hong (tourist from Hanoi) said that the performance of the Chinese and Finnish teams on the 4th performance night had made a strong impression on thousands of locals and tourists. Although they had bought tickets for the final night, many places were "sold out".

“I came here at 5pm with my family and luckily there was still a nice place to sit. I am very excited and looking forward to the performance of the two teams tonight,” Ms. Hong shared.

Similarly, Mr. Pham Minh Vuong (residing in An Hai Bac ward, Son Tra district) said that the final night of DIFF 2024 has a very special attraction for locals and tourists. Although he lives locally, he and many other people arrived early hoping to find a good spot to watch the two teams perform tonight.

From early morning, many people and tourists flocked to the riverside area to watch the fireworks. Authorities reminded viewers not to spread out tarps, reserve seats, and ensure security and order when watching the fireworks.

Along Tran Hung Dao Street, some places with beautiful locations such as hotels, high-rise buildings, coffee shops, etc. also opened to sell fireworks tickets with food and drinks. Shops and restaurants became crowded and bustling, prices were clearly listed, meeting the needs of residents and tourists.

To ensure security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting around the grandstand area, functional forces, traffic police, and urban rules are also strengthened.
