Lam Dong Provincial leaders attend the general rehearsal of the program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day

(LĐ online) - On the evening of April 2, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, a rehearsal program was held for the 50th Anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025), towards the 50th Anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Thi Phuc and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai attended the program's general rehearsal.

Attending the rehearsal were comrades: Pham Thi Phuc - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee along with leaders of relevant departments, branches and members of the Art Council.

At the rehearsal, provincial leaders and representatives of functional agencies and units reviewed and approved the overall program content, including the ceremony and art program.

The performance "Sacred pestle rhythm" will open the art program "Southern Central Highlands celebrates liberation day"

The highlight of the celebration is the art program with the theme “The Southern Central Highlands celebrates the liberation day”. With the smooth and harmonious blend of music and unique and creative stage design, combined with modern technology, the art night promises to create an explosive space of emotions, an impressive meeting of sound, light, melodies and cultural colors of the ethnic groups in the Southern Central Highlands.

Participating in the program are famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Tran Tua, Diva My Linh, singer Khanh Linh, singer Isaac, musician Yphon Ksor, violinist Trinh Minh Hien, the band "Time Stream", singers and artists from Lam Dong Cultural and Arts Center and 70 dancers from Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Hanoi.

The performance "Da Lat, the heroic city" was performed by the band "Time Stream" and 3 girls: Xuan Nhi, Quynh Thi, Phuong Anh.

Basically, the program meets the requirements of commemorating and reviewing the heroic fighting tradition of the Vietnamese people in general, the army and people of Lam Dong in particular, and remembering the merits and contributions of previous generations in the cause of liberating and building Lam Dong. Thereby, it propagates and educates the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army about the stature, value, and great historical significance of the resistance war against the US to save the country, the Great Victory of Spring 1975, liberating the South, and unifying the country.

The 50th Anniversary Celebration of Lam Dong Liberation Day will officially take place at 8:10 p.m. on April 3, 2025 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City and will be broadcast live on Lam Dong Radio and Television Station and relayed by many local radio and television stations nationwide.

Diva My Linh will perform 3 acts at the celebration.

The program also includes a special fireworks display. The program is free of charge, with no admission fee for residents and visitors.
