To prepare to complete the dossier to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee at the 30th session, on the morning of February 21 at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue chaired a meeting to give opinions on a number of major contents to absorb and revise the draft Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that at the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, National Assembly deputies discussed and gave opinions on the draft Law on Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization. Immediately after the session, based on the opinions of the National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Standing Committee directed the Standing Committee of the National Defense and Security Committee to preside over and coordinate with the drafting agency to study, absorb and revise the draft Law.
According to the plan, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions at the upcoming 30th session and is expected to submit it to the National Assembly for approval at the 7th session (May 2024).
Emphasizing that this is a very important Law project, with many specific and outstanding policies to develop the defense and security industry and institutionalize the Party's viewpoints, guidelines and policies on building and developing the defense and security industry and industrial mobilization.
Therefore, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that it is necessary to prepare the best draft Law dossier before submitting it to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments and the National Assembly for consideration and approval.

At the meeting, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee Le Tan Toi reported on a number of major contents of the reception and revision of the draft Law on Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization .
