(Dan Tri) - In the 8 tasks, the Resolution requires continuing to improve the quality of comprehensive education at preschool, general education, and continuing education levels.
The Government has just issued Resolution No. 51/NQ-CP, implementing Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW dated August 12, 2024 of the Politburo on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training.
The Resolution clearly states eight tasks and solutions to innovate education, focusing on perfecting institutions, mechanisms, policies and laws on education and training in a scientific, modern, synchronous and interconnected direction, suitable to the international integration process and socio-economic development conditions in the country.
Timely remove bottlenecks, ensure a complete, synchronous, feasible legal framework, meeting the requirements of education and training innovation. Promote decentralization and delegation of authority; ensure synchronization and connectivity between education levels and training levels.

Continue to improve the quality of comprehensive education at all levels: preschool, general education, continuing education, political education, ideology, ethics, national defense and security education; physical education, school sports activities for students.
Focus on investing in modernizing vocational education, university education and enhancing scientific research potential in educational and training institutions.
Continue to improve the national education system in an open, flexible, and interconnected direction, promoting a learning society and lifelong learning; promote digital transformation in education and training.
Developing a team of teachers and educational managers; attracting and employing talented people to work in the education sector.
Continue to innovate management mechanisms, ensure adequate facilities and financial resources for education and training development.
Promote international integration in education and training; focus on improving foreign language skills of pupils, students, and trainees, gradually making English the second language in schools; increase the promotion of Vietnamese language and culture abroad...
During the implementation process, if there are any inappropriate issues that need to be revised, the units shall proactively propose adjustments and send them to the Ministry of Education and Training for synthesis and reporting to the Government and Prime Minister for consideration and decision.
