According to initial information, at around 12:20 on June 21, a house on Ha Yen Quyet Street (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) caught fire.
Witnesses said that at that time, they detected a burning smell and smoke coming from the third floor of the house. After that, many people used the family's available water pipes to put out the fire. Four to five people even climbed onto the neighbor's roof to get closer to the fire.
At the scene, fire broke out on the third floor of the house, black smoke billowed. The balconies of the house were surrounded by iron cages and corrugated iron.
A representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police said that as soon as they received the news, the unit dispatched fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene.
"The fire broke out in the worship room of a 3-storey house with an attic. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force extinguished the fire at 12:45 p.m. the same day," said a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police.
According to the above officer, the fire did not cause any human casualties; property damage is being assessed.
Currently, Cau Giay District Police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
