On the evening of August 25, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tay Ho District Police (Hanoi) said that the unit had extinguished the fire at house number 12, lane 32, Lac Long Quan.

Accordingly, at around 9:00 p.m. the same day, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a fire alarm at a house deep in lane 32 Lac Long Quan.

Witnesses said they saw the fire break out on the first floor of the house and quickly spread to the second floor, with thick black smoke covering the area. At that time, a teenage boy was trapped on the third floor of the house. People nearby quickly cut the door and brought the victim out safely.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tay Ho District Police and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 2 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized 6 specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) quickly sent officers and soldiers to the scene to direct traffic so that the fire truck could promptly reach the fire.

The fire was in a small, deep alley, so it was difficult to bring water to put out the fire. By 9:50 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished and did not spread to neighboring houses. The fire did not cause any human casualties, and property damage is being assessed.

Tay Ho District Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
