About 150m from National Highway 4A, the lonely pear tree, over 10m high, in Chuong village, Xuan Truong commune (Bao Lac district, Cao Bang) stands out with its white flowers. From afar, visitors cannot help but be amazed by the beauty of the pear tree in bloom.
The reason this pear tree is called the lonely tree is because it stands alone in a field in the middle of a large valley, surrounded by green mountains.
According to Tuyet Tuyet (Cao Bang), in Xuan Truong commune, almost every house grows pears. The pear variety here is brown-skinned pear, also known as tiger pear.
If going from Cao Bang city, visitors can go through Hoa An and Thong Nong districts, then through Na Tinh pass to reach Xuan Truong.
From Bao Lac town (Bao Lac district, Cao Bang), visitors only need to cross the 15-storey Khau Coc Cha La pass.
The pear tree in Chuong village has a trunk as big as a person's hug, a wide canopy, and abundant flowers. It is located on a villager's rice field. This pear tree is now over 50 years old.
Pears usually bloom after Tet, but this year the weather is cold so the flowers bloomed later, until mid-March when each small cluster of flowers bloomed brilliantly. Pear flowers have 5 thin petals, forming clusters.

It is known that the garden owner will start opening the garden to visitors from 2024 at a price of 10,000 VND/person.
To create more scenery and highlights for visitors, the garden owner planted a field of yellow canola flowers in front of the pear tree.
"When checking in at the lonely pear tree, visitors should choose outfits with light, neutral tones or rent traditional costumes at the garden owner's house. Each outfit is rented for 50,000 - 80,000 VND," Tuyet Tuyet shared.
Coming to Cao Bang, tourists can also visit many other famous destinations such as Ha Lang burnt grass hill, Thung mountain, traditional yin-yang tile making village, Ban Gioc waterfall...
