There were no relatives at his funeral, only the villagers brought him to his eternal resting place. The Pho Bang's grave was buried by the villagers, with jasmine flowers planted in the four corners of the grave - his favorite flower.

In 1954, the tomb of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac was restored by soldiers and local people, then photographed and sent to the North for President Ho Chi Minh. Immediately after the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, in response to the people's wishes, in August 1975, the Sa Dec Provincial Party Committee (now Dong Thap Province) built the tomb of the man, and it was completed in February 1977.

In 1992, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sports (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) issued a decision to recognize the tomb of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac as a National Historical - Cultural Relic.

Above the tomb is a stylized lotus-shaped roof like an open hand facing down, with the top of the roof embossed with the image of nine dragon heads.

In 2010, the relic site inaugurated the project "Preserving, restoring and promoting the value of the relic site of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac", with an area after expansion of nearly 9 hectares.

The tomb faces east, above the tomb is a stylized lotus-shaped roof like an open hand facing down, the roof is embossed with nine dragon heads, symbolizing the people of the Mekong Delta always protecting the tomb of the patriotic scholar.

In addition to the tomb, the project also has an exhibition hall about the life and career of Nguyen Sinh Sac and a reconstruction of a corner of the ancient Hoa An village - where Nguyen Sinh Sac first set foot in revolutionary activities, dispensed medicine to serve the people...

The stilt house in the relic site was restored and displayed like Uncle Ho's stilt house in Hanoi.

In particular, in the relic site, there is a model of Uncle Ho's Stilt House built at a 1:1 scale, from size, style to artifacts, all restored and displayed like Uncle Ho's Stilt House in Hanoi.

With the meaning that Dong Thap wants to bring Uncle Ho back to the tomb of Vice President Nguyen Sinh Sac and so that the people of the South who do not have the opportunity to visit Uncle Ho's stilt house in Hanoi, when coming here, can also imagine how Uncle Ho, a President, lived and worked.

In addition, there is also a 600m2 President Ho Chi Minh Exhibition House, with more than 200 images and artifacts on 6 topics, systematically reflecting the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.

Red address for patriotic education

According to Ms. Ngoa, today, the tomb stands tall and eternal like a white lotus rising above the pink lotus land. The Party Committee, government, army and people of Dong Thap province are honored to represent the people of the whole country and the Nguyen Sinh family to look after the tomb and burn incense to worship the Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac.
