Over the years, Minh Hai Garment Export Company Limited (Dong Phu town, Que Son) has provided stable jobs for many workers in the locality and neighboring areas.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuyet - Director of the company said that when it was first established, the company only had more than 60 employees, now it has increased to nearly 350 workers.

In 2024, the company's total revenue will reach more than 50 billion VND. With an increasingly supplemented workforce, it is expected that in 2025, the company's output of consumed goods and revenue will increase by 15 - 20% compared to last year.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, the total production value of the entire economy of Dong Phu in the past 5 years (2020 - 2024) reached more than 9,200 billion VND. In 2024, the average income per capita of the town reached 57.4 million VND, an increase of 15.4 million VND compared to 2020; currently the local poverty rate has decreased to 2.4%...

Focus on infrastructure investment

Identifying the implementation of the criteria for a type 4 urban area as an important task, in recent years Dong Phu town has established a specific investment portfolio, prioritizing resources to build urban embellishment works and lacking urban infrastructure, especially traffic works, irrigation works, lighting works, cultural works, administrative works, residential infrastructure, and individual houses.

Mr. Trinh Dinh Phuc - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Phu town said that from 2020 to now, thanks to efforts to implement many solutions, the locality has mobilized a total capital source for basic construction investment in the area of ​​nearly 94 billion VND.

From this capital, Dong Phu upgraded and expanded 5.5km of inner-city roads, 3.6km of concrete alley roads, 5.7km of canals, built a new public lighting system with a length of 5km, and installed 4.7km of clean water pipes.

As the administrative center of Que Son district, Dong Phu town has recently received attention from superiors for investing in many projects such as: building houses in Dong Phu market area, building houses to expand residential area No. 2, upgrading Song Linh bridge and Lieu bridge...

Besides, the locality implements the contents of civilized urban criteria, focusing on implementing green - clean - beautiful streets and civilized streets.
