Vietnam U17 (red shirt) is ready for the 2025 AFC U17 Championship.

In this tournament, U17 Vietnam falls into group B with U17 Japan, U17 Australia and U17 UAE.

Accordingly, coach Cristiano Roland and his team will face U17 Australia (April 4), U17 Japan (April 7) and U17 UAE (April 10).

Notably, all 3 group stage matches of U17 Vietnam took place at 10:00 p.m. This is quite late and will certainly cause difficulties for fans in watching.

In this group, the chance of U17 Vietnam advancing is not high because U17 Japan, U17 Australia and U17 UAE are all very strong.

It is important to note that only the top two teams in each group will advance. At the same time, the teams that pass the group stage will also get tickets to the 2025 U17 World Cup.

To prepare for this important tournament, U17 Vietnam has had quite good preparation. Previously, the team won both friendly matches against Oman with the same score of 1-0.

Speaking about this, coach Roland emphasized: “Just like in the qualifying round, we will try to solve each match one by one at the 2025 AFC U17 Finals.

I have talked about the things that need to be improved since the qualifying round and have planned them in daily practice. We are always focused and aiming for the highest goal for Vietnamese football."
