How to calculate high school graduation exam scores for graduation consideration

Priority points include:
- Priority points for subjects: Candidates belonging to priority subjects according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training will receive additional priority points for subjects.
- Regional priority points: Candidates in priority areas according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training will receive additional regional priority points.
Incentive points: Candidates with high achievements in competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (classified by graduation level) will receive additional incentive points.

How to calculate high school graduation exam scores for university admission
With the method of using high school graduation exam scores, this is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination, depending on the major, plus priority points (if any, according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training).
Each university will set a minimum score for admission (also known as the admission quality assurance threshold). This is the minimum high school graduation exam score that candidates must achieve to apply for admission to the school.
Normally, the minimum score for admission based on high school graduation exam scores will be announced by schools immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the exam scores. Candidates only need to score above the minimum score set by the schools to have a chance of being admitted.
As planned, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) will announce the high school graduation exam scores of candidates at 8:00 a.m. on July 17.
After receiving high school graduation exam scores, candidates will base on the minimum scores to receive admission applications from schools to register for admission.
