Many practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification

During the historic April days, together with localities across the country, Vinh Phuc is actively organizing many exciting and meaningful activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), encouraging and motivating the entire Party, people and army in the province to promote the spirit of patriotism, the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, the strength of great national unity, competing to successfully complete the goals and tasks of socio -economic development.

Ho Chi Minh Square area, Vinh Yen city is colorful with a system of propaganda paintings celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

According to the plan, from April 30 to May 4, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh Yen city, the Vinh Phuc Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 will take place, with the theme "Vinh Phuc flies up with the country".

It is expected that there will be about 30 hot air balloons with many themes, colors, and beautiful, vivid decorative images participating in the festival. Of these, 13 are decorative hot air balloons; 10 models of hot air balloons filled with helium; 4 hanging hot air balloons for decoration, not carrying people, and 3 hot air balloons for carrying people.

The 2025 Vinh Phuc Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025; festival activities and activities serving tourists to experience hot air balloon flights in the form of hanging flights will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on festival days.

In addition, the program will organize exhibition, shopping, culinary and fashion booths to serve the entertainment and shopping needs of people and tourists; display and introduce local specialties, folk games, virtual reality games and exhibitions; organize entertainment activities, art performances and carnival parades...

According to the leader of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vinh Phuc Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 is a meaningful program to serve people in entertainment, recreation, and cultural and spiritual activities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

At the same time, it contributes to promoting the image of Vinh Phuc as a dynamically developing province, rich in cultural and spiritual identity, with friendly and hospitable people, promoting tourist attraction and tourism development...

In addition to the Hot Air Balloon Festival, which practically celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the Provincial People's Committee directed departments, branches and localities to carry out many other exciting and meaningful activities.

In particular, focusing on visual propaganda, hanging billboards, posters, and propaganda slogans in key areas of the province, central areas of districts, cities, communes, wards, and towns...; mobilizing people to hang Party flags and national flags in households and carry out general cleaning, creating a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

Develop and broadcast programs, reports, special pages, columns, news, and articles about the nation's resistance war against the US to save the country; about the country's achievements 50 years after unification; about the life, glorious revolutionary career, and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh on mass media.

Organizing art programs and exchanges with typical art clubs of Vinh Phuc province; thematic exhibition: "Vinh Phuc Literature and Arts: 50 years after the country's reunification" associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and reunification of the country at the Provincial Museum; film screening activities; opening of the Vinh Phuc Summer Tourism Festival 2025.

Placing signs at construction sites to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term; organizing activities to pay tribute to heroic martyrs and soldiers participating in the Ho Chi Minh campaign to liberate the South and reunify the country...

The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: Propaganda activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday are being actively implemented by all levels, sectors and localities in the province.

In many central areas, visual propaganda paintings, billboards, posters, and propaganda slogans are hung up, creating a heroic and excited atmosphere among the people.

Along with that, the province focuses on directing functional forces to strictly manage information and communication activities, especially in the press and social networks; promptly prevent negative information, and strictly handle violations of the law.

Check and remove old and torn billboards, banners, cheering clusters, advertising boards... that cause loss of urban beauty and affect the cultural living environment of people in the whole province. Resolutely handle cases of violation of advertising regulations.
