The reason for the increase in quota is that from the next school year, Son Tay High School for the Gifted and Chu Van An High School for the Gifted will officially become specialized schools according to new regulations, and at the same time stop training non-specialized students.
The 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi will take place on June 7-8 with three compulsory subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. Candidates applying for the specialized program will take an additional specialized subject exam on June 9.
