Ministry of Justice has new 47-year-old Deputy Minister

(NLDO)- A Department Head of the Ministry of Justice has just been appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of this ministry.


On March 16, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 618/QD-TTg on appointing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu, Director of the Department of Civil and Economic Law (Ministry of Justice) to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.

New Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tu

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu was born in 1978, from Quang Binh; PhD in Law, Bachelor of Economics, Senior in Politics.

The new Deputy Minister of Justice was recruited from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law to the Ministry of Justice in 2011. At that time, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of International Law.

In September 2015, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu was transferred to work at the Department of Civil and Economic Law, appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Civil and Economic Law, and assigned to the position of Acting Director of the Department of Civil and Economic Law. Afterwards, Mr. Tu held the position of Director of the Department of Civil and Economic Law until he was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice.

The current leadership of the Ministry of Justice includes Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh and 5 Deputy Ministers: Ms. Dang Hoang Oanh, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Mr. Mai Luong Khoi, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu.
