Why did Mr. Dang Hong Anh resign from the position of Vice Chairman of TTC Land?

On the afternoon of April 15, Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company (TTC Land), confirmed that he will resign from this vice chairman position in the near future.

According to Mr. Hong Anh, he resigned from the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors to take on the position of Chairman of the Founding Council of TTC Land. This is an unofficial legal title but is consistent with his role as the founder of TTC Land (formerly known as Sacomreal - stock code SCR) more than 20 years ago and a major shareholder of the company.

According to Mr. Hong Anh, TTC Land is very important, an inseparable part, but the transfer of the role in the Board of Directors is for him to focus on the long-term strategy at Thanh Thanh Cong Group (TTC). This is an important step in the comprehensive restructuring of TTC Land, aiming to improve management capacity, standardize the apparatus as well as flexibly adapt to the real estate market in the new period. He hopes that with this transfer, the successor team will continue to take TTC Land further, while he will still accompany at the macro level, long-term through TTC Group.

Tan Van project (Dong Nai) that TTC Land has just deployed

As the son of businessman Dang Van Thanh - founder of TTC Group, Mr. Dang Hong Anh is currently Chairman of DHA Investment LLC, and Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for two consecutive terms.

Mr. Hong Anh is holding more than 40 million SCR shares, equivalent to 9.29%.

Along with Mr. Hong Anh, many leaders at TTC Land have also resigned to nominate new personnel at the shareholders' meeting scheduled to take place at the end of April. Currently, 4 members have been nominated to the Board of Directors including Mr. Nguyen Van Banh, Mr. Nguyen Thai Son, Mr. Tran Van An and Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa.

Meanwhile, at the close of trading on April 15, SCR shares decreased slightly to VND5,620.
