During his visit to Vietnam, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping held high-level talks with General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong, met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, attended a state banquet, and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum with General Secretary To Lam, attended the Vietnam-China People's Friendship Exchange Festival; the launching ceremony of the Red Journey for Youth Research and Study, and the launching ceremony of the Vietnam-China Railway Cooperation Mechanism.

During meetings with senior leaders of Vietnam, the two sides agreed to maintain regular high-level exchanges, upgrade the Strategic Dialogue mechanism between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs - National Defense - Public Security to the ministerial level; strengthen substantive cooperation in various fields, establish a Railway Cooperation Committee between the two governments to promote railway cooperation; well organize activities of the "China - Vietnam Year of Humanitarian Exchange 2025", consolidate the social foundation; coordinate more closely multilaterally; control and satisfactorily resolve disagreements.
