Decision No. 1379/QD-BTTTT dated August 16, 2024 of the Minister of Information and Communications on the temporary transfer and appointment of Mr. Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information Security.
Decision No. 1279/QD-BTTTT dated July 30, 2024 of the Minister of Information and Communications on reappointing Mr. Nguyen Van Long to the position of Vice Principal of the School of Training and Fostering Information and Communications Management Staff.

At the decision-giving ceremony, Deputy Minister Phan Tam sent his congratulations to the appointed officials. The Deputy Minister acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the three officials during their work. According to the Deputy Minister, the three officials appointed today are all capable, prestigious and responsible officials who have devoted themselves for many years and achieved many achievements throughout their work.

According to Mr. Tran Quang Hung, new Deputy Director of the Department of Information Security: The mission of Vietnam's network security is to protect Vietnam's prosperity in cyberspace.
In his new role at the Department, Deputy Director Tran Quang Hung is committed to building a united team, developing a team of experts and researching the application of new technologies to improve information security capacity, protect national digital sovereignty; focus on monitoring and processing information on the network, protecting people from cyber threats and supporting agencies and organizations to improve information security capacity.
