Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command was awarded the flag of Excellent Unit in the emulation movement in 2023 by the Government.

On the morning of July 15, in Hai Phong City, Military Region 3 held a conference to review military and defense work in the first 6 months of 2024. Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Military Region chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region and comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, heads of the Military Region Command; commanders of agencies and units in the armed forces of the Military Region.

Thoroughly implementing the directives and resolutions of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region closely coordinated and cooperated with all levels, sectors, forces, Party committees, and local authorities to synchronously and drastically deploy many solutions to help comprehensively complete the tasks of military and defense work in the first 6 months of the year, notably: Agencies and units strictly maintained the order of combat readiness, tightly managed the airspace, sea, border, and inland, were ready to participate in natural disaster response, rescue, and relief, not to be passive or surprised in any situation; reorganized and merged agencies and units according to plan; the management of defense land was carried out closely, coordinated in site clearance to serve the construction of a number of new units on schedule...

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc acknowledged the results of the implementation of military and defense tasks in the first 6 months of the year by agencies and units. The Commander of the Military Region requested that in the coming time, agencies and units continue to strictly maintain the order of combat readiness, closely follow the area, be ready to handle natural disasters, rescue and relief situations; organize training and exercises closely, according to plan, ensuring substance; do a good job of preparing and practicing to participate in competitions and sports events at the entire army level to achieve high results, participate in training the service team to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Army with good quality. Military agencies at all levels proactively advise local Party committees and authorities to speed up the progress of deploying the construction of defense works in defense areas. Party committees and commanders at all levels do a good job of grasping and managing the army's ideology, paying attention to the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers; Maintain strict order in logistics and technical work to ensure that mission requirements are met.

The Head of Military Region 3 Command awarded outstanding collectives and individuals in the emulation movement in 2023.

On this occasion, Military Region 3 organized a high-level emulation campaign with the theme "Proud of tradition - Continuing the feats - Worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.

At the conference, authorized by superiors, Military Region 3 awarded the Government's Excellent Emulation Flag to two groups including the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command and Brigade 513; awarded certificates of merit from the Minister of National Defense, certificates of merit from the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and awarded the title of Emulation Soldier of the whole army to 12 groups and 10 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Emulation Movement to Win in 2023 and performing tasks.
