Provincial Military Command completed the Good Car, Good Driver Contest

Vu Quang District Military Command won first prize for the entire delegation at the 2023 Good Car, Good Driver Contest organized by the Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command.

During 2 days (May 17-18), the Provincial Military Command organized the 2023 Good Car, Good Driver Contest. Participating in the contest were 18 contestants who were car drivers of military agencies of 13 districts, towns, cities and units under the Provincial Military Command with 14 vehicles.

Leaders of the Technical Department of Military Region 4 and the Head of the Provincial Military Command inspected the vehicles participating in the competition.

Entering the contest, the contestants performed the following contents: multiple choice test with a set of 30 questions on the Road Traffic Law; practical test for driving a class C transport vehicle; using a KAMAZ vehicle on a parking lot... Especially in the good vehicle test, the jury checked the technical condition of the vehicle when it was moving; checked the working condition of the systems while the vehicle was running, moving according to the terrain and the registration procedures...

It is noteworthy that, in the practical part of good driving, although the units have not been assigned KAMAZ vehicles, the drivers were highly focused, applying their experiences in performing tasks to flexibly handle situations in the competition.

In this competition, 75% of the cars participating in the competition met the standards of good cars; 100% of the drivers had solid skills, skillful driving movements and rules, were confident, and had good driving techniques, of which 17/18 contestants were awarded certificates of excellence.

The organizing committee awarded first, second and third prizes to the units.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Military Command of Vu Quang district; two second prizes to the Military Command of Ha Tinh city and the Military Command of Huong Son district; and three third prizes to the Military Commands of Nghi Xuan, Cam Xuyen districts and Ky Anh town.

The organizers awarded certificates to the good drivers at the competition.

Regarding the best individual drivers, the first prize was awarded to comrade Nguyen Luong Trung - driver of the Logistics Department's Transport Platoon; 2 second prizes were awarded to comrade Tran Quoc Truong - driver of the Military Command of Vu Quang District, comrade Nguyen Viet Giap - driver of the Military Command of Ha Tinh City; 3 third prizes were awarded to comrades: Le Khanh Tung - driver of the Logistics Department's Transport Platoon, Nguyen Duc Nhat - driver of the Military Command of Cam Xuyen District, Tran Thanh Tan - driver of the Military Command of Can Loc District.

The organizing committee awarded certificates of merit to groups whose vehicles met good vehicle standards.

Regarding good vehicles, the first prize went to the vehicle of Nghi Xuan District Military Command; two second prizes went to vehicles of Huong Son District Military Command and Vu Quang District Military Command; three third prizes were awarded to vehicles of Ky Anh District Military Command, Hong Linh Town Military Command and Cam Xuyen District Military Command.
