The Dau Giay – Tan Phu expressway interchange (Dong Nai) is more than one kilometer from the border of Duc Linh district. The Binh Thuan Department of Transport has proposed building a connecting road to facilitate travel.
The Department of Transport of Binh Thuan province has just advised the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province to propose the Ministry of Transport to consider and direct the project management board to add a road connecting Duc Linh district with Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway (Dong Nai).

The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Phase 1 project with a total investment of VND 8,300 billion was approved by the Prime Minister in September 2022. The route has a total length of more than 60 km, passing through many localities in Dong Nai. Currently, the investor, Thang Long Project Management Board, has prepared a feasibility study report and sought appraisal opinions.
Through a field inspection, the Binh Thuan Department of Transport found that the Tan Phu intersection is only about one kilometer from the Duc Linh district border, but there is no connecting road design. From there, this agency proposed to add a 4-lane road, connecting to the existing Ro Mo - Da Kai road (Binh Thuan), similar to the branch connecting to National Highway 20 in Dong Nai province.
According to the Binh Thuan Department of Transport, when this section is connected to the expressway, it will shorten the distance, travel time, and transportation of goods for people, helping to develop the local socio-economy, especially the Duc Linh mountainous area bordering Dong Nai and Lam Dong.
Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway is one of three component projects of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong route, expected to start construction in 2024. In phase 1, this expressway will have 4 lanes, a maximum speed of 80 km/h, and an emergency stop every 4-5 km. In the final phase, the project will be upgraded to 4 lanes, with an emergency stop lane, and a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
