(BD) - Speaking at the Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Conference 2025 held on the morning of March 28, Comrade Nguyen Chi Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister , emphasized: The fact that Binh Dinh province organized the Investment Promotion Conference today shows the province's great efforts and determination in socio-economic development, demonstrating the sense of responsibility with the whole country to enter the era of national development. The large presence of delegates, partners, enterprises, and investors also shows special interest in the attractiveness and confidence in the development of Binh Dinh.

Binh Dinh has a favorable location for economic development, especially marine economy and tourism, possessing many competitive advantages to attract investment, such as: Strategic geographical location; human resources; diverse development potential; open, flexible, creative investment environment; synchronous transportation system.

“There are few provinces in the region that have convenient means of transportation like Binh Dinh,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized, and commented that Binh Dinh province is an attractive investment destination, with full potential, outstanding advantages and differences for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, aiming to become one of the country’s dynamic economic centers, becoming a leading developed province in the Central region as set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

Affirming that the Government always pays attention to and creates favorable conditions for localities to develop, including Binh Dinh province, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the outstanding achievements that the province has achieved in recent times, especially the efforts and determination of the province in improving the investment environment and attracting resources for socio-economic development.

“I am very happy because every time I return to Binh Dinh, I see clear changes in the constructions, projects, and roads. In particular, Binh Dinh is increasingly welcoming many new, large-scale investors from the world’s leading economies such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand…”, the Deputy Prime Minister shared.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung said that Vietnam is always committed to accompanying, supporting and creating favorable conditions for foreign investors to invest and do business in Vietnam, through implementing solutions: Continuing to maintain macroeconomic stability; promoting institutional improvement; removing difficulties and obstacles for investors; focusing on investing in developing strategic infrastructure. In particular, on March 26, the Prime Minister issued Resolution No. 66 on the Program to reduce and simplify administrative procedures, aiming to improve the investment and business environment in Vietnam. Accordingly, by 2025, at least 30% of business conditions will be abolished; the time to handle administrative procedures will be reduced by at least 30%; compliance costs will be reduced by at least 30%; and 100% of administrative procedures related to enterprises will be carried out online.

The Deputy Prime Minister believes that with the dynamism, creativity and determination of the leaders and people of Binh Dinh province, along with the attention and cooperation of investors, after this Conference, many more international partners will continue to pay attention, learn and research the investment potential in Binh Dinh. Thereby, gradually forming specific products and projects to transform potentials and advantages into new driving forces, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

In order to promote strengths, promote a healthy, attractive and competitive investment environment, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Provincial People's Committee to identify the creation of a favorable investment and business environment as the top priority; promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for investors; always be friendly and accompany businesses. In addition, continue to mobilize and effectively use State, private and other resources to focus on investing in developing the infrastructure system, ensuring synchronization and modernity. Promote training of high-quality human resources associated with attracting investment in the fields of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Binh Dinh needs to effectively implement the socio-economic development planning to promote sustainable development according to the digital economic model, green economy, develop ecological industrial parks associated with urban areas, housing areas for experts, social housing, housing and cultural institutions for workers; form specialized industrial production clusters to contribute to the development of large-scale economy towards the cause of modernization and sustainable industrialization. Binh Dinh also needs to review, develop and adjust the investment attraction orientation in accordance with the local socio-economic development strategy and plan for the period 2025 - 2030 to make a breakthrough; promote the leading role, driving force, and positive spread of large and key projects.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his support and noted that the Provincial People's Committee should accept the opinions of economic experts and enterprises on researching, building and forming a free trade center in Binh Dinh as well as considering expanding and adding a number of industrial parks in the province's planning.

For investors, enterprises and businessmen, the Deputy Prime Minister requested to seriously implement investment commitments and memorandums, following the principle of "promising is doing, committing is doing"; speeding up the disbursement of capital, ensuring that investment projects are implemented substantially and effectively, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the locality. Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen the connection between enterprises, especially domestic enterprises and foreign enterprises, to participate deeply in the global supply chain and value chain; promoting social responsibility; ensuring policies for employees, creating a safe, friendly and harmonious working environment to promote sustainable development.

“With the rapid tradition of the hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, along with innovative thinking, new ways of doing, daring to think, daring to do, Binh Dinh will continue to achieve even greater achievements, making worthy contributions to the overall development of the country”, the Deputy Prime Minister believes and wishes Binh Dinh to soon become a new strong growth pole, a new bright spot in attracting investment.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung sincerely thanked Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, diplomatic agencies, experts, international organizations and the domestic and foreign business community for always accompanying and supporting the province in the past time; at the same time, he hoped to continue to receive the attention, direction and support of the Government and central ministries and branches, as well as close cooperation from the business community so that Binh Dinh could develop more and more strongly. Binh Dinh province deeply absorbed and strictly implemented the direction of the Deputy Prime Minister.

Comrade Ho Quoc Dung pledged to create the most favorable conditions for investors to successfully implement projects and develop sustainably; at the same time, he hoped that investors would concretize solutions to implement projects that have been granted investment policy decisions, investment registration certificates and projects signed with the province, to achieve success and develop together.
