December to close Dau Giay Expressway investor

On August 12, Dong Nai province leaders had a working session with the Thang Long Project Management Board ( Ministry of Transport ), along with departments, branches and localities to listen to reports on the implementation of the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway construction investment project phase 1.

Dong Nai provincial leaders worked with Thang Long Project Management Board on Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway.

According to the report of the Thang Long Project Management Board, the Ministry of Transport has approved the project under the form of public-private partnership (PPP). It is expected that the bidding process to select investors for this expressway will be completed in December 2024.

The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway project is over 60 km long. The starting point is at Km0+000 at the intersection with National Highway 1, connecting with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (Thong Nhat District, Dong Nai).

The end point is at Km60+243.83, intersecting with National Highway 20, connecting with Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway (Phu Trung Commune, Tan Phu District, Dong Nai). The total investment of the project is nearly 9,000 billion VND.

Location in Bau Ham 2 commune, Thong Nhat district where the highway passes through.

This expressway will pass through four districts of Dong Nai: Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu. The site clearance work will be carried out at once on a complete scale, with a total land area of ​​about 378 hectares.

After reporting on the project, Thang Long Project Management Board proposed that Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee direct departments and branches to support the unit in implementing the project, especially in site clearance.

At the same time, the Project Management Board requested Dong Nai to soon establish a Council for compensation, site clearance and resettlement support so that the unit can coordinate and speed up this work.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, requested relevant localities to quickly compile data on site clearance and send it to the Department of Planning and Investment before September 12.

From there, the Department of Planning and Investment will synthesize and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the site clearance compensation sub-project, and divide tasks for localities to carry out the next work before October 12.

The starting point of the project intersects with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

Localities need to review relevant plans to ensure compliance with project implementation. At the same time, they need to strengthen construction management to avoid illegal construction in the project area.

"The Thang Long Project Management Board should deploy and hand over the project's site clearance boundary map to localities to facilitate the implementation of the next tasks," said Ms. Hoang.
