According to the Thang Long Project Management Board, after completing the marker planting, it will be handed over to the locality to soon reclaim the land to serve the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project.
On February 19, according to the Thang Long Project Management Board (representative of the competent State agency in the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway project), the marking of the entire Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway will be completed by March 2025. After that, the Board will hand over the markers to the localities to carry out the site clearance work for the project.
Starting point of Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway intersects with National Highway 1.
According to the Thang Long Project Management Board, the site clearance marking for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway is being rapidly implemented by the units, reaching about 50% so far. In March, when the marking is completed, the entire project will be handed over to the localities at once.
Currently, Thang Long Project Management Board is still selecting investors to implement the project. It is expected that the investor will be selected in April 2025. If the site is available, the project will start construction at the end of June 2025.
A representative of the Thang Long Project Management Board said that the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway passes through 4 districts of Dong Nai province: Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu. To implement the project, the localities need to reclaim nearly 380 hectares of land, with compensation, support, and resettlement costs of more than 1,450 billion VND.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, Dong Nai has recently assigned the authority to compensate, support, and resettle the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway to localities where the project passes through.
Immediately upon receiving the site clearance milestone, the districts will establish a compensation, support and resettlement council to handle records and procedures during the land acquisition process.

The process of land clearance for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway is expected to have advantages because the recovered land area is mostly rubber land and agricultural land, the number of households needing resettlement is small, and Thong Nhat and Xuan Loc districts do not need to arrange resettlement.
The Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway project has a total length of more than 60km. The starting point is at Km 0+000 at the intersection with National Highway 1, connecting with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, located in Dau Giay town, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province. The ending point is at Km 60+243.83 (the end of the intersection with National Highway 20), connecting with the Tan Phu (Dong Nai) - Bao Loc (Lam Dong) Expressway construction project, located in Phu Trung commune, Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province.
The total investment of the project is over VND 8,981 billion. Of which, the capital mobilized by the investor is about VND 7,681 billion; the State capital participating in the project is about VND 1,300 billion. This project is expected to be basically completed in 2026 and put into operation from 2027. The project's capital recovery toll collection period is calculated to be 18 years, 2 months and 11 days.
The Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project is an important piece on the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong expressway.
The expressway is designed with a scale of 4 lanes, speed of 100km/h. Within the scope of the project, the units will build many bridges, intersections, service roads, level crossings, and rest stops.
