Thereby, contributing to building a solid people's position at the border, constantly consolidating the great national unity bloc in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period.
In the last days of November, the family of Mr. Ly Van Hai, Dong Cam village, Hoanh Mo commune, was always filled with joy and happy laughter when their dream of a spacious and sturdy house was about to come true. Being a poor household with many economic difficulties, Mr. Hai's family was supported by the Military Command of Binh Lieu district with a business to build a new house with 50 million VND.
Mr. Ly Van Hai emotionally shared: My family is truly grateful for the affection of the officers and soldiers of the District Military Command, not only connecting resources but also directly supporting working days to help us build a house. So this spring, my family will be able to welcome spring and celebrate Tet warmly in a new house filled with military-civilian affection. This is a great motivation and encouragement for my family to rise up from poverty and stabilize our lives.
Lieutenant Colonel Tang Van Tinh, Military Command of Binh Lieu District, said: With the local characteristics of over 96% ethnic minorities, life is still difficult, therefore, the Party Committee and Military Command of the district have focused on building and implementing models of mass mobilization skillfully associated with the military rear policy, actively mobilizing people to develop the economy, participate in building a cultural lifestyle, and build political bases. Thereby, contributing to improving people's lives, maintaining political security, social order and safety, creating a solid foundation to consolidate the great national unity bloc.
Along with that, in recent years, the District Military Command has effectively implemented the emulation movement "Binh Lieu District Armed Forces join hands to build the New Rural Area". In the past 5 years, the Party Committee and the District Military Command have mobilized officers and soldiers to participate in the New Rural Area construction program with over 8,000 working days, mobilizing businesses and philanthropists to support cement, funds to build new houses, repair 5 houses for poor households, 1 cultural house, 2 cultural house yards, 1 public flower garden, build thousands of kilometers of rural roads with a total cost of over 2 billion VND. At the same time, maintain coordination in medical examination and treatment, and provide free medicine to ethnic minorities, an average of 450 people/year; regularly mobilize officers and soldiers to participate in environmental sanitation work, mobilize people to practice a cultural and civilized lifestyle, eliminate backward customs; participate in building and consolidating 23/23 border villages and hamlets...
The District Military Command also stepped up the implementation of the Project "Promoting the role of the People's Army in participating in the dissemination and education of the law, mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level in the period of 2021-2027", contributing to raising awareness and understanding of the law, mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State. From 2021 to present, the District Military Command has coordinated to organize legal propaganda for nearly 5,000 people aged 18 and over on the following contents: Law on National Defense, Law on Military Service, Law on National Borders, Law on Democracy Practice, Law on Prevention of Harmful Effects of Alcohol, Law on Road Traffic, Law on Marriage and Family, no incestuous marriage, etc.
In particular, as the central agency, the District Military Command coordinated with units in the district armed forces to deploy plans and mobilize forces to carry out prevention work before, during and after the recent storm No. 3, contributing significantly to ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. Always being the "first movers", officers and soldiers of the District Military Command are a solid foundation to protect peace and accompany and give strength to the people to overcome natural disasters and storms and floods.
By working creatively and practically, creating a widespread influence in the community, officers and soldiers of the Military Command of Binh Lieu district have always stood side by side with the people of all ethnic groups in the area in socio-economic development, contributing to building a strong national solidarity bloc at the border, constantly enhancing the qualities and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.
