TPO - The Do Bridge across Thi Tinh River with a total investment of more than 312 billion VND has just been opened to traffic by Binh Duong province. This is one of the projects to welcome Ben Cat town to become a city.

On April 22, Binh Duong province held the inauguration ceremony of the new Do Bridge project across Thi Tinh River and started construction of the Ben Cat Town Mass Organization Block headquarters project, and the project to upgrade the road from DT.748 to Tien Giang intersection (An My hamlet, An Dien commune). |

Do Bridge across Thi Tinh River is nearly 170m long with a total investment of 312 billion VND. This is a bypass route for Ben Cat town (which has just been upgraded to a city, effective from May 1), helping to reduce traffic congestion and shorten travel time for people in the area. |

In early 2021, Binh Duong organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the project. Do Bridge has a permanent prestressed concrete structure with a length of more than 165m, a width of 20m, including 4 lanes for motor vehicles. The ramp at the beginning of the bridge is more than 211m. The length of the road connecting to the bridge is 596m, 25m wide. |

According to the plan, the new Cau Do is a bypass route of Ben Cat town, with the starting point connecting to Provincial Road 748, the remaining point connecting to the road passing through urban areas to National Highway 13. |

The bridge was built to help reduce the load and limit the situation of too many vehicles, including many heavy-duty vehicles passing through the inner city of Ben Cat, causing traffic jams and potential traffic accidents. In addition, the new bridge contributes to creating a landscape for the area along the Thi Tinh River, creating conditions for the expansion of the western urban area of Ben Cat city in the future. |

Previously, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution to establish An Dien and An Tay wards in Ben Cat town and Ben Cat city, Binh Duong province. The resolution took effect from May 1, 2024. To celebrate Ben Cat becoming a city, the locality organized many practical activities to celebrate, including the inauguration ceremony of Cau Do. |
Ben Cat will hold a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of An Dien ward, An Tay ward of Ben Cat town and the establishment of Ben Cat city, Binh Duong province; receive the First Class Labor Medal on the morning of April 25, 2024 at 30/4 Square.
