Congratulatory letter to The World and Vietnam Newspaper from Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son.

On this occasion, the Newspaper was honored to receive a congratulatory message from the Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son to all staff, reporters, and editors, recognizing the tireless efforts of the Newspaper in promoting the image of Vietnam as a peaceful, beautiful, friendly, rapidly developing country, a safe, attractive destination, and dynamic, creative, and hospitable Vietnamese people; at the same time, contributing to building consensus and consolidating the people's increasing support for the country's foreign affairs.

Appreciating the important contributions of the Newspaper to the overall achievements of the foreign affairs and diplomacy sector, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister shared his joy when the press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was on the list of newspapers with the highest spread in the country, according to the weekly assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Writing for the World and Vietnam Newspaper while working abroad, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine Le Hai Binh expressed his confidence in the newspaper “which has risen strongly, taking difficulties and challenges as motivation, taking serving the Fatherland and foreign affairs as its goal, gradually positioning itself as the official press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a prestigious foreign affairs newspaper of the Industry and the country”. Assessing the past 35 years as “a journey of countless emotions”, Mr. Le Hai Binh expects the newspaper with its “warriors” who carry both roles – diplomats and journalists – to continue writing its own proud development story and make worthy contributions to the common mission of foreign information work in the new era.

Despite being busy with many activities at the end of the year, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang devoted a special interview to the Newspaper, sharing her insightful perspective on the development of the past 35 years, from a specialized research journal to a prestigious newspaper with a position in the hearts of readers as well as in the journalism community. The Deputy Minister expressed many expectations for the next stage of the Newspaper, positioning herself to transform, both accompanying and contributing to the common work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and completing her own tasks, making the newspaper increasingly popular domestically and internationally.

Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, former President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, wrote an article about the beautiful memories and deep impressions of the passionate, enthusiastic, and selfless working spirit of the Editorial Board and reporters and employees of the Newspaper. According to the Ambassador, it is the love and devotion to the profession and the Newspaper, the concerns and determination to innovate of the journalists that have created the motivation, inspiration, and strength to help the Newspaper overcome challenges, help the Newspaper stay on track, innovate, and continue to develop.

The newspaper received practical support and many telegrams and articles sharing memories, thoughts and expectations about the newspaper's accompaniment in foreign propaganda work from Ambassadors and Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad such as: Vietnam's Permanent Delegation to the United Nations, Vietnam's Delegation to the European Union, Vietnamese Embassies in Japan, Thailand, Brunei, Belarus, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei...

In their congratulatory messages, the Ambassadors and Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Vietnam also expressed their desire to cooperate and their expectations for the strong and sustainable development of the Newspaper in information and communication work, contributing to promoting relations between Vietnam and other countries and partners. They are the Palestinian Ambassador - Head of the Diplomatic Mission, the Ambassadors of Russia, Japan, India, Norway, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, etc.

The attention of leaders of the Departments of Foreign Affairs, scholars, experts, partner businesses, organizations, and former journalists, officials, colleagues, etc. for the Newspaper on this occasion was also expressed through messages, letters, gifts, etc. full of trust, love, and expectations for a further growth in the future for the press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It can be said that the support, love and trust of domestic and international friends is a clear demonstration of the role, position and steady development of The World and Vietnam Newspaper in carrying out the political tasks assigned by the Party, State and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The past 35 years have been a journey of constant innovation and development for The World and Vietnam Newspaper . The collective of the Newspaper has overcome many difficulties and challenges together, always steadfast in its goal of informing and propagating the foreign affairs of the Party and State, contributing to promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to the world.

The congratulations, sharing, confidences, and even suggestions in the past days have truly been a great source of encouragement for all cadres, editors, reporters, and employees of the Newspaper. Through that, the Newspaper has been more deeply aware of the vanguard mission of revolutionary journalism on the ideological front, a strong internal resource for the development of the Diplomatic sector, for the country, and for the nation.

The awareness of the role of diplomats and journalists in the country's foreign information work was also nurtured during the Trip to the Source of the Newspaper on the occasion of its birthday, to the National Monument Site of the first Credential Presentation Ceremony of Vietnam and the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School - the first journalism training facility of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. Journalists of the World and Vietnam Newspapers are even more proud of the tradition of the country, of the Diplomatic sector and are more imbued with the responsibility of journalists in the new situation.
