Press Day is coming soon

(CLO) The Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Vietnam Press Museum organized the event "Quang Tri Press Festival" to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

The Vietnamese revolutionary press has entered a proud historical milestone of 100 years. A century marked with heroic pages of history, where sharp pens become weapons, honest voices are power and journalists always burn with the desire to contribute.

Reporters of press agencies stationed in Quang Tri province have excellently completed their assigned tasks and have been awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee.

To honor this great journey and pay tribute to writers in Quang Tri, the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association will organize a series of special events, promising to bring meaningful experiences.

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Sy, Permanent Vice President of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, said: On April 9, 2025, the following events will be held: first, the exhibition "100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism and pride in Quang Tri Journalism"; second, the discussion "Journalism accompanies the homeland and country"; third, the exchange of generations of journalists.

Next, on June 14, 2025, the event will take place; Meeting & honoring, expressing gratitude to outstanding journalists, those who have contributed to writing the glorious history of Quang Tri province's press; Awarding the 8th Quang Tri Provincial Press Awards - 2024; Honoring excellent press works, outstanding contributions of journalists in the past year; Next is the Gala program to meet and connect generations of journalists.

Journalist Cai Van Long, Journalist and Public Opinion newspaper, was awarded first prize in the writing contest with the theme: "Hai Lang - Pride and Aspiration".

This is an important political event, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This event will be broadcast live on Quang Tri Radio and Television (QRTV) and many other television channels.

“Quang Tri Press Festival” is a place to foster people’s faith in the cause of building the country and homeland. Quang Tri is a place that experienced fierce war years, countless soldiers and journalists died on this land.
