After more than two decades of daily exercise, a 60-year-old woman in China has the body of a girl in her 20s.

Bao Xiaoling, from Jiangsu Province, has been a fitness instructor since she was middle-aged. She says she became obsessed with exercise at the age of 38, after taking an aerobics class to lose weight. That was when the sport was new in China, and most gyms offered only basic classes.

After attending the class for six months, the class members commented that Bao's movements were more accurate than the instructor's. Encouraged by many people, she registered to take the exam to become an aerobics teacher.

Since then, aerobics has become an important part of her life, which is also the reason why she has a toned body. Bao told Qianjiang Evening News that she has a habit of waking up at 7:30 every day and exercising before breakfast. From 3 to 4 pm every day, she does resistance exercises to build muscle.

"My waist size when I was 20 was 68cm, now it's 63cm. Exercise has become a part of my life. My biggest secret for 20 years is exercise. It gives me confidence, health and a youthful spirit," she shared.

According to Bao, there is no age limit to keeping fit. People do not necessarily have to go to the gym to do it. Her views are supported by many Chinese social media users.

Bao was also a member of a group of women in their 50s who exercised daily. They all looked younger than their actual age. The group of eight called themselves "ageless grandmothers".

Many studies have shown the benefits of aerobic exercise. Analysis by Tel Aviv University showed that this sport can reduce the risk of developing metastatic cancer by 72%. According to experts, high-intensity aerobics increases the consumption of glucose (sugar) by internal organs, thereby reducing the amount of energy for tumors, making them less likely to metastasize. In addition to aerobic exercise, activities such as brisk walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, etc. are also recommended.

When a person exercises regularly, the tissue of internal organs changes and becomes more like muscle tissue. Exercise changes the entire body, making it impossible for cancer to metastasize and the primary tumor also shrinks in size.
