On the morning of November 15, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to the Department of Construction report on the implementation of the 4-5-storey apartment building project in Le Hong Phong Ward, Thai Binh City. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and units.

According to the report of the Department of Construction, up to now, the construction of the project has been basically completed; electricity and water have been turned on and some problems have been fixed as pointed out by the State Appraisal Department of Construction Quality (CTXD) and the fire prevention and fighting police agency. However, there are still some problems related to the progress of the remaining items such as: handling seepage in the flower bed area, handling basement walls; not yet presenting the fire door inspection certificate according to regulations; no minutes of testing the elevator pressurization system, smoke exhaust in the corridor; testing the elevator pressurization system, smoke exhaust in the corridor... Some other important problems are: construction quality management records, project completion records... leading to the inability to accept and hand over the project to households as planned.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing issues related to the completion time of items, work to overcome existing problems pointed out by the State Appraisal Department of Construction Quality; compensation costs, support for site clearance and commitment to support rent for households until handover...

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that over the past time, the province has actively participated, focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles in the process of project implementation. In order to soon complete the project, put it into use and hand it over to households as planned, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the project investor to strictly implement the province's instructions, focus resources to urgently complete the remaining items of the project, promptly overcome the shortcomings pointed out by the State Appraisal Department of Construction Quality, the fire prevention and fighting police agency; complete the implementation of compensation expenses, support for site clearance as well as support for house rent for households as committed. The Department of Construction focuses on urging investors and related units to promptly supplement and complete missing documents and procedures; ensure requirements on progress, security, safety and quality of the project.

In addition, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned a number of specific tasks to relevant departments and agencies to speed up the project's completion as well as plan to hand over houses to households.
