City: Meeting with typical businesses

On the afternoon of October 14, the People's Committee of Thai Binh City held a meeting with typical businesses in the city. Attending were comrade Hoang Van Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; leaders of the City People's Committee.

In recent years, the city's business community and entrepreneurs have made rapid progress in both quantity and quality. In the context of many difficulties, entrepreneurs and enterprises have promoted their internal strength, made efforts to overcome difficulties to maintain and develop production and business activities; affirmed their reputation, enhanced their competitiveness in the market, contributed significantly to the state budget, created jobs for thousands of local workers and actively participated in social security activities. To date, the city has nearly 4,500 operating enterprises, accounting for nearly 60% of the total number of enterprises in the province, contributing over 70% of the total budget revenue in the area.

City leaders presented gifts to congratulate the Provincial Business Association and businesses.

Speaking at the meeting, the city leaders acknowledged the contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs to the city's socio-economic development in recent times. At the same time, they hoped that businesses and entrepreneurs would continue to join hands with the Party Committee, government and people of the city to successfully implement the set socio-economic development goals. The city leaders affirmed that the city authorities at all levels will continue to stick together, accompany, care for and share with the business community; focus on directing drastic policies to support business development, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses, especially in site clearance; promote digital transformation, administrative reform, build a government that serves the people and businesses; create the most favorable environment for businesses to invest, develop production and business in the city.
