On October 31, the Viet Tri City Red Cross Society (RCS) coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the City Women's Union and philanthropists to hand over the Humanitarian House to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ung - a person in extremely difficult circumstances in Zone 1, Duu Lau Ward, Viet Tri City.

Ms. Ung currently lives with her two sons, one of whom is deaf and mute from birth, the other also has severe sequelae from a traffic accident. She herself is old and weak, and the whole family has to live on monthly social security money. Faced with these difficulties, the city's Red Cross Association at all levels mobilized 185 million VND to build a new 70m2 house with full ancillary facilities to ensure daily living needs. Of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Women's Union of Viet Tri City supported 40 million VND; Venerable Thich Dam Nha - Abbot of Thien Long Pagoda supported 50 million VND; Hai Ha LAND Trading Joint Stock Company supported materials and cash worth more than 20 million VND. The remaining amount was donated by departments, branches, organizations, local authorities and relatives in the family.

After more than 4 months of construction, the new house was inaugurated and handed over to the joy of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ung's family. This is an activity demonstrating the spirit of "Mutual love and support" of the Red Cross Association at all levels, local departments, branches, organizations and businesses, philanthropists towards those in particularly difficult circumstances in the community. Thereby, contributing to encouraging the spirit, helping Mrs. Ung and her children have more motivation to strive to develop the economy, gradually stabilizing their lives.
