The photo contest is organized to affirm the important contributions of the Capital Police force in the 80-year history of building, fighting and growing of the People's Public Security Force (CAND) of Vietnam. The entries will be mirrors reflecting the image of police officers with courage, loyalty, high sense of responsibility, and dedication to the peace of the people. At the same time, the contest is also an opportunity to spread humane values, beautiful stories about humanity, dedication and responsibility of the police force in ensuring security and social safety.
The contest also aims to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; implementing the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security and building the Capital Public Security force in the spirit of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo on Promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Public Security force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation .
The contest is open to professional photographers, officers and soldiers of the Hanoi City Police, as well as all classes of people studying, living and working in the capital. The entries are single photos, photo series, reportage photos and there is no limit to the number of works. The entries must capture authentic and vivid moments of the sacrifices and contributions of the Public Security Forces in ensuring security and order, protecting a peaceful life for the people as well as studying, training, working and cultural, artistic, physical education, sports, volunteering for the community... thereby spreading good examples of typical and exemplary groups and individuals of the City Police.
The Organizing Committee will award 28 prizes, including 1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes and 15 Encouragement Prizes. The winning works will be honored in commemorative activities and selected to be designed into photo books or organized into exhibitions to widely promote the image of the Capital Police officers.
