- On April 8, leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade went to the field to grasp the production and business situation and worked with 6 enterprises exporting goods to the US market.

Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade worked with leaders of Seshin VN2 LLC.

Accordingly, the textile group is Seshin VN2 LLC, MSA YB Company (Long Binh An Industrial Park); the canvas group is Hitarp Vietnam LLC (Phuc Ung Industrial Park, Son Duong); the wood group is Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company, Huiling Products LLC, Acacia Woodcraft LLC (Thang Quan Industrial Park, Yen Son). These are the province's main export items to the US market.

At the meeting, businesses reported on their production and business situation and raised ongoing difficulties and obstacles, especially scenarios for responding to the US’s announcement of a 46% import tax on Vietnamese goods. Most business leaders believe in the Party and Government’s strategy. However, they are also worried that when this tax is applied, it will be difficult to maintain production…

Through understanding the situation, the Department of Industry and Trade will report and advise the Provincial People's Committee on the production and business situation as well as the impacts and difficulties when the US imposes tariffs so that the province, industry and businesses can work together to find the most optimal solutions to maintain production and business.
