Steering Committee of 35 provinces deploys tasks for 2025

On the afternoon of December 28, the Provincial Steering Committee 35 held a conference to review the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in 2024 and deploying directions and tasks in 2025. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Hong Duong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2024, the Provincial Steering Committee 35 actively and proactively advised the Provincial Party Committee to effectively implement the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views in the province. Notably, the issuance of pilot guidelines for specialized activities to protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight and refute bad and toxic information, wrong and hostile views; organizing drills to fight, refute, prevent and handle bad and toxic information on the Internet and social networks at two levels: provincial and district levels.

Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces spoke at the conference.

At the same time, organize training courses, improve professional skills, and skills in the fight to protect the Party's ideological foundation, refute wrong and hostile views for non-professionals. Along with that, focus on political theory work and training, education to protect the Party's ideological foundation, strengthen political and ideological education, ethics and lifestyle among Party members and cadres. The work of grasping the situation of press information and public opinion has clearly changed, promptly advising the Party Committee, proposing solutions to prolonged cases that create bad public opinion among the people. The work of detecting, preventing, fighting, refuting, and handling fake information, untrue, bad, and toxic information has been deployed synchronously and effectively.

Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, presented a Certificate of Merit from the Central Propaganda Department to Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Nhan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the members of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces and the affiliated Party Committees in 2024. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces emphasized that the country is entering a new era - the era of national development and the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints is becoming more and more important. He made a number of suggestions and directions for the Steering Committee of 35 provinces and the affiliated Party Committees to focus on innovation, creativity, and improving the quality of content and methods of operation in the coming time.
