At the conference, the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee suggested that the Central Committee should study and select a location for the new provincial political-administrative center that meets the principles, scientific bases, arguments proven from practice, and strategic visions.

Comrade Thach Phuoc Binh, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th tenure, Tra Vinh province, gave a speech.

It is necessary to carefully consider the geographical location, which must be central and ensure space. Delegates are concerned about geopolitical factors, ethnic and religious factors, and on that basis, propose that the Central Government choose a scientific and harmonious location for the new provincial administrative center with the goal of creating development momentum, creating the best conditions for people and businesses, for the common development of the Mekong Delta region in particular and the whole country in general.

Comrade Thach Thi Thu Ha, Provincial Party Committee member, Cau Ngang District Party Committee Secretary spoke.

At the conference, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee focused on giving opinions on the draft criteria for arranging commune-level administrative units and the arrangement plan, proposed names and locations of political-administrative centers for commune-level administrative units in the province and gave opinions on the draft Project "Arranging administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model".

Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong accepted the delegates' comments and directed the Provincial Party Standing Committee to be responsible for fully synthesizing the delegates' comments and suggestions and reporting to the Central Committee for consideration.
