Arsenal closes in on most expensive player in Premier League history

Arsenal have agreed a transfer fee with West Ham for Declan Rice, making it the most expensive deal in Premier League history, breaking the £100m record set by Man City for Jack Grealish in 2021.

Declan Rice is paid £250,000 a week under a separate agreement with Arsenal. The English midfielder will undergo a medical examination to sign the contract today (July 5).
