In the Thanh Nhan Hospital campus on the morning of January 20, nearly 20 booths sold many household items, nutritional foods, banh chung, Tet jam, clothes, shoes, warm blankets... at 0 VND to serve the needs of patients being treated here during the days before Tet. With each ticket in the fair, patients (or relatives of patients) can receive 5 free items.

Mr. Tran The Quang, Deputy Director of Thanh Nhan Hospital said: "Today's 0-dong fair is not only about material support gifts, but also about spiritual encouragement, sharing with humanity in the spirit of "the rich help the poor", contributing to bringing a warm Tet to patients in difficult circumstances".
This year, Thanh Nhan Hospital has donated more than 500 gifts to patients being treated there. In addition, the hospital also organized a music and dance program to encourage the patients.
Attending the Zero-VND Tet Fair, patient Nguyen Thi Lan (in Hanoi) shared: "I am very happy and touched by the feelings and sharing of doctors and philanthropists towards patients. The fair has helped many patients feel warm when the traditional Tet holiday is near, even though they are fighting with illness in the hospital."
In recent days, Bach Mai Hospital has also organized a "Love Tet Market" to raise funds for patients in difficult circumstances who have to stay in the hospital for treatment during Tet. Sharing the meaning of the "Love Tet Market", Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co, Director of the hospital said: "In addition to treating patients, we want to contribute to sharing difficulties, sharing love, bringing warm Tet days to patients and their families who have to stay in the hospital and cannot celebrate Tet at home. This is also a bridge full of love between doctors and patients during the days of welcoming spring at Bach Mai Hospital".
At the National Children's Hospital, "Spring of Love" is an annual and meaningful activity of the Hospital during the Tet holiday, with the desire to bring the taste of Tet, encourage and share with the children and their families being treated at the Hospital. This year's program has donated nearly 2,000 gifts through 37 free booths to the children and their families.
MSc. Trinh Ngoc Hai, Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital, said: Currently, the hospital receives about 4,000 outpatients every day, more than 2,000 inpatients, and 120 cases requiring ventilators per day. Most of the children are from remote provinces and have serious illnesses, facing many economic difficulties.
"Therefore, every time Tet comes, we call for the help of sponsors and philanthropists to join hands with the hospital to take care of the children being treated with material and spiritual gifts, in order to help them have more motivation to fight the disease, to soon return to their families and friends to celebrate spring and study. In addition to today's program, to have a warm Tet for the children, the hospital has a plan to support about 1,000 children who remain for treatment during Tet. It is expected that during the 4 days of Tet, the hospital and sponsors will provide free meals and necessary necessities for the children", shared Master Trinh Ngoc Hai.
As scheduled, with the desire to share and support hospitalized patients during the pre-Tet and Lunar New Year, most hospitals have activities of "mutual love and support". This is not only material support but also a valuable source of spiritual encouragement, helping patients feel more confident in their treatment journey.
