7 top students in high school graduation exam chose Foreign Trade University

7 candidates achieved the highest scores in the admission groups to Foreign Trade University, mainly in the Foreign Economics major.

They are Tran Nguyet Hang, valedictorian of block A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry); Vu Hoang Luong Huy, block A01 (Math, Physics, English). The valedictorians of block D with a combination of three subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language (English, Russian, Japanese) are Pham Thi Van Anh, Le Nguyen Lan Nhi, Le Hoang Sang, Vu Tran Tri Duc and Tran Thu Trang. The candidates' scores ranged from 27.85 to 29.8 points.

Among them, Nguyet Hang chose Logistics and Supply Chain Management with international career orientation (high-quality program taught in English), Thu Trang studied high-quality Business Japanese, the rest chose Foreign Economics, standard program.

During the opening ceremony on the morning of September 26, Foreign Trade University honored and awarded scholarships to 7 valedictorians. The scholarship amount is equal to four years of tuition. Currently, tuition at Foreign Trade University is about 25-70 million VND per year, depending on the program that students study.

"I am very happy and touched. This is a huge scholarship, as well as a recognition of my efforts over the past time," Van Anh, valedictorian of block D01, shared after receiving the award.

This year, the whole country has 12 valedictorians in the popular university entrance exam combinations: A00, A01, B (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C (Literature, History, Geography), D. Thus, Foreign Trade is the school that attracts the most valedictorians, according to the graduation exam score method. Last year, this school also welcomed 5 valedictorians.

Associate Professor Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, President of Foreign Trade University, said he was proud that the school was trusted, had a high brand and reputation, and always recruited the best candidates. To new students, he advised them that whether they were excited or nervous, they should welcome this journey with joy and enthusiasm, ready to experience.

"Be bold in accepting challenges as an inevitable part of life. We cannot control all the difficulties and challenges that will come our way. The only thing we can control is our attitude towards those difficulties and challenges," said Mr. Tuan.

This year, Foreign Trade University will enroll 4,100 students for its three campuses in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh. The standard score based on graduation exam scores ranges from 26.2 to 28.5.

Of the three early admission methods, including considering academic records combined with excellent student awards, international certificates and using competency assessment scores, the highest admission threshold is 30, applied to the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program, Hanoi headquarters.
