This is a vertical waterfall but the water flows quite gently and smoothly compared to other waterfalls in the Central Highlands. The road to the waterfall is quite wild, the scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh.
Legend has it that in the past, this waterfall was only for Princesses to bathe in and no commoners were allowed to come near, and the name Princess waterfall in Chu Pah district was also called from that time. Chu Dang Ya is a volcano that has been inactive for millions of years, with a funnel-shaped crater, about 500m above sea level. Chu Dang Ya volcano is hidden in the middle of a majestic green forest.
Coming to Chu Dang Ya, visitors can admire the change of brilliant colors according to each season. In the dry season, Chu Dang Ya volcano is covered in the bright yellow color of thousands of wild sunflowers competing to show off their colors.
In particular, in November, hundreds of thousands of wild sunflowers compete to show off their colors, covering all the roads and hills in gold. In the rainy season, Chu Dang Ya is immersed in the red color of the canna flowers, flooding around the volcano.
