Somatom Force VB30 can scan the entire body in less than 2 seconds at a speed of 737 mm/s, dozens of times faster than a conventional CT machine. Ultra-thin slices of only 0.4 mm minimize the possibility of missing small lesions. At the same time, the machine allows the reproduction of more than 100,000 slices in one shot, providing quality images, supporting early detection of very small lesions such as tumors, inflammation, stones and abnormalities in organs with complex structures such as the brain and coronary arteries.
Dual power source technology with two power levels
The machine uses 2 X-ray source technology with a rotation speed of only 0.25 seconds to help separate the best energy, minimize scanning time and increase the ability to capture quickly. Combined with Turbo Flash technology, it scans the entire heart extremely quickly in just 250 milliseconds.
This is especially important in detecting and diagnosing cardiovascular diseases, providing accurate images of atherosclerotic plaques, arterial calcification, and narrowing of the lumen of the vessel. Thanks to this technology, doctors can simultaneously examine the coronary arteries, cerebral arteries, and aorta or the coronary arteries and cardiac perfusion with just one scan.

The super machine owns ADMIRE advanced model iterative reconstruction technology to increase resolution, improve image quality and contrast, especially reduce blurring in case of rapid shooting or shooting complex body structures.
iMAR software reduces metal artifacts by up to 80%. This results in improved image quality, delivering a whole new level of clinical results, especially useful when imaging patients with metal implants.
Thanks to its high spatial resolution and 4D image reconstruction capabilities, the machine helps detect small lesions such as lung tumors measuring only a few millimeters or liver metastases. Dual Energy technology supports the distinction between healthy and malignant tissue, assisting doctors in planning effective treatment.

Low X-ray dose, high safety
Somatom Force VB30 is recognized by the American Medical Physics Association as one of the CT systems with extremely low X-ray dose levels (only 0.2 mSv) thanks to the dose-reducing tin filter and software that optimizes image quality and automatically reduces dose.
Thanks to this feature, the machine supports screening diagnosis in children, infants, people with kidney failure or patients sensitive to X-rays, avoiding missing lesions.

AI integration supports doctors in diagnosis
Somatom Force VB30 is integrated with a series of modern artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. ALPHA software marks and analyzes human body anatomical landmarks, automatically recognizes anatomical landmarks on films, supporting doctors in determining the location of organs, soft tissues, bones, blood vessels, etc.
The Fast Phase program automatically supports cardiovascular examinations by helping to calibrate and select the clearest and most useful images, helping doctors diagnose more quickly and accurately.
