Tam Anh is in the top private specialized hospital

Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi achieved the highest score among private hospitals recognized by the Departments of Health for their specialized level.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has just announced that Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City is the private hospital with the highest technical expertise level with the highest score among 70 private hospitals participating in the evaluation.

Previously, Tam Anh General Hospital Hanoi also achieved the specialized level assessed by the Hanoi Department of Health and ranked first among nearly 50 private hospitals classified in the area.

The revised Law on Medical Examination and Treatment takes effect from January 1, 2024 and Decree No. 96/2023/ND-CP stipulates that medical examination and treatment facilities are classified according to technical expertise based on professional capacity instead of administrative level.

The highest level of expertise is the specialized medical examination and treatment level, performing the tasks of medical examination and treatment, specialized outpatient and inpatient treatment in one or more fields; specialized practical training; research, specialized continuous training; and technology transfer in medical examination and treatment.

In case the patient participates in Health Insurance, he/she will enjoy benefits when being examined and treated and is diagnosed with a disease in the list of 62 diseases and groups of diseases above. If the lower-level medical unit does not diagnose the disease accurately, when going to the higher-level medical facility, it is recorded that he/she has another rare or dangerous disease, the patient will still be paid benefits.

People with rare and serious diseases can rest assured to receive treatment at the Tam Anh system.
