200 workers attended the program "Tet Sum Vay"

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty - 2025, this morning, January 20, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Thanks to the Party". Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee, trade union organizations of districts, towns, cities, grassroots trade unions of enterprises, and sponsoring units in the province for having many practical activities to care for workers in the past year and on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

On the occasion of preparing to welcome the New Year, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee wished the trade union organizations, especially union members and employees, good health and peace, continued efforts to successfully complete assigned tasks and plans, and actively contribute to the overall success of the agency, unit and enterprise. He requested that the trade union organizations continue to maintain and promote activities to care for union members and employees in difficult circumstances.

At the program, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor presented 3 "Union Shelters", each worth 50 million VND, to union members and workers who do not have a house; presented 200 Tet gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and gifts to workers in especially difficult circumstances, those who had serious work accidents, serious illnesses, or had relatives who were sick for a long time, etc.

These are warm and meaningful Tet gifts, showing the concern of Party committees, authorities, and trade unions to share and encourage the difficulties of workers.

Teacher Tran Thi Dieu Nhon, a teacher at Hai Thuong Kindergarten (Hai Lang District) shared: “I myself have a serious illness. Today I am very happy to attend such a meaningful program, especially I also received a Tet gift from the Provincial Labor Federation. My family and I will use this gift properly during the upcoming Tet holiday.”

Also at the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized an exchange and lucky draw with a total prize value of nearly 40 million VND. The prize structure includes: 7 consolation prizes, 4 fourth prizes, 3 third prizes, 2 second prizes, 1 first prize and 1 special prize of a Samsung refrigerator worth 10 million VND.

The special prize went to Mr. Trinh Van Long, a worker at Minh Hung Quang Tri Joint Stock Company. “I am very happy because I was lucky enough to win the special prize at the program. With this new refrigerator, my family will replace the old one for better use. Thank you to the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the sponsors for bringing us such a warm and practical program,” Mr. Long shared.

At the program, union members and workers enjoyed joyful performances with the theme of celebrating the Party and the New Year.

Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen The Lap said that during the Lunar New Year, the Provincial Federation of Labor decided to support 4,000 gifts worth about 3 billion VND for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, and organized 3 programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" at the provincial level to take care of about 600 union members in difficult circumstances.
