Libreria Project is a community project founded in 2020 by a group of high school students in Hanoi with the mission of spreading, improving reading culture and narrowing the educational gap.

The project is implemented with main activities, including: A series of activities to spread reading culture, fundraising fair combined with book workshop; teaching soft skills to students...

The project has taught highland students many useful skills.

The 6th season of Libreria Project has passed half of its meaningful journey with two events held before the main activities, including: "Dream Streak" series of activities and "Lively" spring fair.

The recent "Nguyet Vu" event has concluded the journey of season 6, marking an important milestone on the journey of "Sowing seeds of knowledge - Coloring dreams" that the project has always aimed for.

Students interact live on stage.

The program contributes to spreading reading culture to the community, while conveying the profound meaning of words and creating a useful learning space, where young people can explore the world of knowledge together and nurture their passion for reading.

Yen Binh District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is the only specialized school for ethnic minorities in Yen Bai province. The school has 205 students divided into 6 classes. They are all ethnic minorities and live in boarding schools because their homes are far from school and their families cannot afford to support their tuition fees.

During the recent trip, Libreria Project brought to the highland students useful and interesting lessons, focusing on essential skills for their development, such as: Skills on puberty crisis; time management skills; skills to develop personal strengths and skills to accept perspectives.

A performance imbued with the identity of boarding school students.

With careful preparation and dedication, Libreria Project members have spent a lot of time compiling quality lesson plans, aiming to bring children the most complete and meaningful learning experiences.

The program brings memorable moments to highland students.

Not only teaching, the project also brings a meaningful gift to teachers and students of the school when renovating the school library with books donated from previous events. The books are carefully selected, suitable for the age and interests of the students, contributing to enriching the library's knowledge, building a healthy and beneficial reading environment for students in the highlands.

Regarding facilities, Yen Binh District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is quite spacious because it was invested by Yen Bai province. Recently, the school has been awarded when many students won prizes in the cluster-level Excellent Student Competition.

The province has supported 100% of the school's budget to buy books for the students. However, due to the lack of funds to invest in reference books and story books for students, when the school's Board of Directors and students heard about the project, teaching life skills and adding more than 2,000 books (children's stories, reference books, advanced books...) to the library, they were very happy.

Developing a reading culture is one of the important goals of the program.

Sharing about the students, the teachers at the school emotionally said: Many of the students' family circumstances are still very difficult. Some students have special circumstances such as losing their father or mother, or both parents and only having grandparents; there are students whose father or mother has a serious illness, requiring very expensive treatment... So in addition to providing books for the students, we hope that there will be some support funds through which to support the students' families in a more practical and long-term way.

In each program, the project supports thousands of selected books.

Understanding the importance of education and reading culture in schools, Libreria Project hopes to inspire and encourage reading habits in children. In season 5, Libreria Project donated more than 2,300 books of all kinds to a secondary school in the suburbs of Hanoi.

Nguyet Vu is a name inspired by the scene of the moonlight dancing, dancing and playing with children. The moonlight brings love, gentle emotions that cherish and warm innocent souls. The project blends with the joy of childhood, bringing books and spreading the light of useful knowledge to accompany children on a part of their journey to adulthood.

Nguyen Dieu Linh, 11th grade Literature major, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Head of the Libreria project organizing committee shared: "We always believe that each book is not simply words but also a door opening up new horizons of knowledge, nurturing imagination and dreams. Through teaching activities and the books we have brought, we hope to equip students with the necessary skills, nurture their love for books and help them firmly step on their journey to adulthood."

Highland students are proud of their national traditions.

Hoang Nguyet Anh, a 7A student at Yen Binh District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, expressed her feelings after directly participating in the teaching activities at the event: "The recent teaching session brought me interesting and useful lessons with a lot of new knowledge. The instructors were enthusiastic and attentive in the class, and I also feel very happy that the school library now has many more good books for us to read together."

Many meaningful gifts were given to students.

Season 6 of Libreria Project has gradually come to an end with the success of all three events with a series of meaningful activities. The program's organizers plan to continue the journey of spreading knowledge, bringing good values to the community, especially the young generation of Vietnam.
