On March 27 in Ho Chi Minh City, AIH American International Hospital held a press conference, announcing 1,000 free examinations for cancer patients nationwide.

The program not only aims to help cancer patients have access to high-quality, specialized medical services from leading domestic and foreign experts right in Vietnam, but also aims to raise public awareness of the importance of regular cancer screening, contributing to early detection and improving the chances of successful treatment for patients.

This program will be implemented throughout 2025, providing free consultation and examination for 1,000 cancer patients or suspected breast, thyroid, lung and digestive system cancers. Patients will be advised on appropriate treatment regimens to support recovery and prolong life. The program also plans to support 12 cancer patients with free surgery when surgical treatment is indicated. In particular, some patients may be facilitated to participate in evaluation and clinical research programs at Raffles Hospital Singapore.

This is a valuable opportunity for patients to access the most advanced treatment methods, including personalized regimens, new generation drugs or special treatment techniques. In some cases, patients can also receive financial support for intensive treatment costs in Singapore, opening up more opportunities for survival for difficult cases./.
