In the first 6 months of the year, Yen Son district had 7/11 tax revenue items reaching over 50% of the assigned estimate such as: Non-state tax reached 57.1%; personal income tax reached 68.3%; registration fee reached 62.2%; fees and charges reached 76.1%; land rent reached 72.8%; mineral exploitation rights fee reached 87.8%; other budget revenue reached 126.9%.
Officers of Inter-commune Tax Team No. 5 (Yen Son) guide business households to declare and pay taxes electronically.
Comrade Ta Van Tuan, Head of the Tax Department of Tuyen Quang City - Yen Son area, said that from the beginning of the year, the Department has reviewed and evaluated each source of revenue that has increased or decreased due to the impact of policies, growth or decline in production output; urged timely collection of newly arising revenues; inspected and examined large enterprises with high tax risks. Along with that, the Department has strengthened measures to manage revenue, prevent revenue loss, recover tax arrears, and strictly handle cases of intentional non-fulfillment of tax obligations. Thanks to good debt handling, in the first 6 months of 2024, the Department has collected more than 9 billion VND in tax arrears. At the same time, the Department assigned the Inter-commune and Town Tax Team to send officers to monitor the area, regularly inspect, review and establish tax records to apply appropriate tax rates at each time, contributing to exploiting and managing revenue sources well.
Mr. Cao Truong Giang, Head of Inter-commune Tax Team No. 5, Yen Son District, said: The team is currently monitoring and managing more than 1,140 tax-paying business households in 14 communes of Yen Son District. The team has assigned officers in charge to monitor the area to each commune, responsible for checking and reviewing the production and business activities. Business households that are not subject to tax but have good business development will be put under tax management to exploit new revenue sources. At the same time, they are responsible for propagating and resolving difficulties of business households in implementing tax policies and laws. As of early July, Inter-commune Tax Team No. 5 has collected nearly 2.7 billion VND in taxes from production and business activities of households in Yen Son District.
Currently, Yen Son district has 169 enterprises and nearly 2,400 business households. Thanks to timely dissemination and support of tax policies and laws, many enterprises and business households in the district have fulfilled their obligations to pay the state budget in full and in accordance with regulations.
Mr. Tran Tuan Sinh, a business household in Tan Bien 2 village, Tien Bo commune (Yen Son) shared: before, every quarter, he had to go to the tax office to do tax payment procedures, the waiting time was very long. In 2022, he was instructed by the officers of Inter-commune Tax Team No. 5 to declare and pay taxes electronically. Applying electronic tax declaration and payment, he can still declare and pay taxes while sitting at home or even outside of office hours. Based on the revenue report, in the first 6 months of the year, his establishment paid nearly 50 million VND in taxes.
With the goal of striving to collect nearly 183 billion VND, reaching and exceeding the 2024 budget revenue estimate by 105% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, the Tax Department of Tuyen Quang City - Yen Son area continues to synchronously implement solutions to prevent budget loss, especially revenues related to land, mineral resources, enterprises and business households with tax risks; resolutely fight and strictly handle cases of taking advantage of legal policies to evade taxes and commit tax fraud; promote administrative reform and modernize tax management...
