This afternoon, May 13, on the social network Facebook, information and images of bus route 58 (Yen Phu - Thach Da) burning fiercely while passing through Me Linh district were spread.
The bus was on fire.
The article after being shared attracted public attention, most of the comments expressed concern for the passengers and drivers on the bus.
Confirming the above incident, a representative of Me Linh District Police said that at around 11:10 a.m. the same day, bus route 58 driven by driver TQH passed through Nam Cuong village.
Authorities extinguished the fire.
When Mr. H. stopped his car to pick up or drop off passengers, he discovered that the back of the car was on fire and quickly shouted for people to leave the car. Immediately after, the fire quickly engulfed the entire car, black smoke billowed up, causing panic among people nearby.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team of Me Linh District Police dispatched 2 fire trucks and 13 officers and soldiers to the scene. About 20 minutes later, the fire was completely extinguished.
The fire did not injure any passengers, but the bus was completely destroyed.
