5 female students won the 'AI masters at school' award

The 2025 AI Master Competition for Students is organized by Hong Bang International University in collaboration with the Vietnam Record Organization and the Vietnam Polytechnic Institute. The competition aims to create a playground to encourage high school students to apply artificial intelligence (AI) to artistic creation, product design, and develop practical solution thinking. In addition, it helps students to approach and master AI technology in a creative and oriented way.

It is known that after more than 4 months of implementation, the competition has attracted nearly 100 teams from more than 20 provinces and cities across the country. The final round of the competition took place on the afternoon of April 13.

From the AI tool provided by the organizers and with the creative theme of the Year of the Snake, the teams came up with design ideas and created practical products such as T-shirts, hats, cloth bags, ceramic cups, notebooks, thermos bottles, propaganda paintings, stickers, decorative plates... extremely vivid and of high use value.

10 excellent teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, An Giang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ngai entered the final round of the competition consisting of 3 parts: introduction video, publication display and live presentation.

While the other teams have all male or both male and female members, Sailor-puff Girls (championship) is an all-female team, including Tran Thi Yen Nhi, Ha Thi Phuong Vy, Nguyen Do Gia An, Ho Tran Anh Ngoc, Tran Thi Ky Duyen, all 12th grade students of the International Education City Inter-level School - IEC (Quang Ngai).

The contest product set of 5 female students named "Edussnake", including desk calendar, book bag, pin, school supplies, keychain... made a special impression on the judges because of its unique idea, cute design, close to school age.

It's the image of a cute and funny snake reading a book under a flower arch in the spring calendar, or a snake wearing a hat and sunglasses by the beach in the summer calendar... with gentle words of encouragement like a kind of "vitamin" to help teenagers feel less stressed about studying.

Meanwhile, the second prize went to a group of 10th grade students from Ha Huy Tap High School (Nha Trang City) including 3 members: Tran Phu An, Lai Ngo Huyen Muoi and Phan Nhat Thien.

The product set named "Bringing dreams to fly far" includes a notebook, a Naga tactical card set, a T-shirt, and a very eye-catching cup. Notably, according to the group representative, this deck of cards is not only for playing but also for training strategic thinking.

As a judge of the final round, Mr. Vu Do Tuan Huy, a technology expert, currently Deputy Director of the CEO program of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), commented: "Although they are only high school students, they know how to use AI tools quickly and have very good thinking. Anyone can use AI to design, the important thing is that they have created their own mark with creative thinking, and especially products aimed at the community."

Master Tran Thuy Tram Quyen, Vice Principal of Hong Bang International University, also assessed the contestants' products as highly applicable with impressive, familiar designs, demonstrating creativity and clear thinking and direction.
