- EVN agrees to adjust electricity prices once every 3 months
Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has just commented on the draft decision to replace Decision 24 of the Prime Minister, regulating the mechanism for adjusting average retail electricity prices. Accordingly, EVN agrees with the plan to adjust electricity prices once every 3 months. - Cancel 7 million VNG shares
The Hanoi Stock Exchange has just issued a notice, approving VNG Corporation (stock code: VNZ) to cancel more than 7.1 million treasury shares to reduce its charter capital from VND358 billion to VND287 billion.
Previously, the above shares were approved for sale to professional securities investors through a private issuance plan at a price of VND177,881/share (according to Tien Phong).
- Chinese battery company spends 3,500 billion VND to buy VinFast shares
Gotion, a Chinese battery manufacturer, has registered to buy 15 million privately issued shares of VinFast at a price of 10 USD/share. The value of the deal is up to 150 million USD (about 3,540 billion VND) (according to Dan Tri).
- After 10 years of stopping flying, Vietnamese airline is still being asked to pay 5.5 billion VND in debt

World oil prices today turned up after falling last week. Domestic oil prices were adjusted from 3pm, of which E5 gasoline price increased by 510 VND/liter, selling price is 23,330 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline price increased by 610 VND/liter, selling price is 24,600 VND/liter; diesel price decreased slightly.
Today, 3 more banks reduced their deposit interest rates : Saigonbank, VIB and Eximbank. Since the beginning of August, Sacombank, BacA Bank, Saigonbank have reduced their interest rates twice; NCB, Techcombank, VietBank, VIB have reduced their interest rates 3 times; ACB and Eximbank have reduced their interest rates 4 times.
